My MiFi powered off without pressing the Power button
This may occur under any of the following circumstances:
- To conserve battery power, by default, if there are no connected devices and there is no touchscreen activity for two hours, the MiFi shuts off.
- MiFi automatically restarting after configuration changes.
- Pressing the Reset button or Restore Factory Settings on the touchscreen or Admin web UI.
- Restoring the configuration settings.
- Battery depletion.
To restore power, follow these steps:
- Manually press and hold the MiFi Power button for three seconds to turn it back on.
- If the battery is depleted, charge the MiFi with the wall charger.
To change the Shutdown setting:
- Go to Configure > Preferences in Inseego Connect.
- Go to Settings > Preferences > Device Preferences in the Admin web UI. (This option is not available for all devices.)
